*Somethin Tells Me I'm into Somethin Good!*
Just have to post a few pictures for friends and relations!!
These are too beautiful!!
Our favourite picture of Isaac and Kathy. What a face, little guy! Kathy, you’re looking great!!(*Mrs. Lehr, you’ve got a luvely daughter!*):
Uncle Dan teaching Isaac about the good stuff in life….lounging in bed!!
What is cool is that Isaac reminds me of what Dan looked like as a baby in this shot.
I love the difference in the size of these guys!:
And I have to post 2 of these because I just think it’s so cute to see my little brother holding a baby!! Awwww:
Mom!!
Cameron says thanks for all the gifts! He had so much fun opening them and we both got a kick out of it! He especially likes the Dallastown Doggie. He’s been spending all his time right next to Cam on his bedside table, along with the car flashlight. Heee.
There should be a couple pieces of artwork up today or tomorrow. It’s Cam’s Dad’s birthday this weekend, so I may not be around till next week. I have, however, been happy with the chairs. There is one more lino print from yesterday, and today I move on to a new medium. I might replicate the lino look though?
And, last but not least, I just have to include these haikus I recieved in an email from my Uncle Doug.
Personally, I’m not much of a cat person..I’m allergic to them too, which doesn’t help.
But I’ve known several really cool cats belonging to friends and family.
This is for Willow, Kelly, Shaka, and all the others that gave me a new sense of affection and respect for the feline species!:
Cat Haikus
The food in my bowl
Is old, and more to the point
Contains no tuna.
So you want to play.
Will I claw at dancing string?
Your ankle’s closer.
There’s no dignity
In being sick – which is why
I don’t tell you where.
Seeking solitude
I am locked in the closet.
For once I need you.
Tiny can, dumped in
Plastic bowl. Presentation,
One star; service: none.
Am I in your way?
You seem to have it backwards:
This pillow’s taken.
Your mouth is moving;
Up and down, emitting noise.
I’ve lost interest.
The dog wags his tail,
Seeking approval. See mine?
Different message.
My brain: walnut-sized.
Yours: largest among primates.
Yet, who leaves for work?
Most problems can be
Ignored. The more difficult
Ones can be slept through.
My affection is conditional.
Don’t stand up,
It’s your lap I love.
Cats can’t steal the breath
Of children. But if my tail’s
Pulled again, I’ll learn.
I don’t mind being
Teased, any more than you mind
A skin graft or two.
So you call this thing
Your “cat carrier.” I call
These my “blades of death.”
Toy mice, dancing yarn
Meowing sounds. I’m convinced:
You’re an idiot.
***************************************************************
* There’s a kind of hush, all over the world tonight….*
YAY!! I love this song!! Groovy.

aren’t those good pics? The one of Isaac doesn’t do him justice. You have to see him in person to realize how adorable he is. do you have any recent pictures of little Anna that you could post? would love to see how she looks now that she is almost 6 mos. old. We are looking forward to a weekend visit with your Uncle Mike. He is to arrive tomorrow. we’re taking him to the Texas Road House for steaks. yumm. Glad Cam liked his pkg. They are good pictures!!
Say hi to Uncle Mike from us!!
Nope..no recent picture of Anna yet..the only ones we have are her 2 week old pictures..but Tammy sent an email saying she’ll be sending a recent picture soon.
D’OH!! I forgot to tell you how much the doggies love their toys!! Gus has the ball, and Goldie the sticky-type thing of course! They were scared of the squeaky-ness for the first 10 minutes, but now any squeak means "it’s play time" and "let’s go outside" and "I’m so excited that I can’t stop barking till you throw it!!……every 20 seconds!!!"

soooo adorable! and i’m really liking the chairs lately. aaaand i should probably just email you, but i’m already writing here, so i thought that i’d tell you: my friend schell (the georgian i befriended in amsterdam) is marrying her australian boyfriend (cameron..haha) and moving to sydney within a year or two. so that’s one more reason for me to go to the land down under. i have to do a tour of the camerons :P so i’m thinking some time in the next 5 years (how vague, i know) i’ll be down there. which would be cool, cause i’d love to see you both. anyway. i’ll stop clogging up your blog ;) keep up the great work!

YAY..So cool! Congrats to them!
You can clog up my blog anytime. I think it’s rather funny how it developed, but this is sort of my email base for non-personal-type emails! I’m actually able to catch up with everyone a bit easier and faster too! We WILL get together ..someday!! Can’t wait though.
love ya,
Ames
Kaffy!

Oooh..I didn’t know he dressed up for Halloween! Kewel..can’t wait to see them! I am doing well..have some very good news for you guys re. visiting, but I’ll be in touch soon to explain it all!!!!
This coming week I’ll be working at a Vineyard making up Christmas gift bags with some of my friends from the Nursery job! (Just for a week or so)

Loved the cat poems—so much more honest than TS Elliot! Get Andrew Lloyd Webber on the phone—it’s time for a sequel.
