Hospital

  

Amy wanted me to let everyone know that she’s in hospital at the moment and that she will get back to blogging as soon as she’s able to. Thank you to everyone for your warm wishes and Amy sends her love.

    Hey Cameron, it’s the other Cameron here, please give Amy all my best wishes for a quick recuperation. If you can think of anything I can do to help in anyway let me know. Stay well yourself too, of course.

    Thanks guys. Yeah, Amy’s in The Alfred Hospital – psych ward, ground floor. She’s been manic for the past three weeks or so. I didn’t realise the signs until it was too late as this is the first incident she’s had in about 10 years. She’ll be fine once the drugs kick in again (I understand it can take some weeks for them to do so).

    She’s in pretty good spirits despite the situation. She knows she needs to be there until she’s better.

    Cam,haven’t spoken to Amy at the hospital since your Thurs. She sounded better. Will try to call her today. Please let us hear from you–e mail is fine. Tell Amy there is a pkg. on the way for her and Ebony. The items in the gift bag are from Kathy and Amy’s duck is from Kathy. I don’t think I filled out the tag correctly. Sending MUCH love to Amy, you, your wonderful family and friends!!!! Mom

    And you have ‘the mania’, funny .. I’ve been thinking I might have that too ..

    Hi..sorry it’s been so long…my husband didn’t quite have the words.. so I have them for you, now.

    I’m on overnight leave and have a feeling I should be out of hospital very soon! Great, non?!

    Will set up my own room in the Library here, when I return from Hospital, and throwing a Going-Home party at a friend’s place.
    So it should be a nice retreat while I’m still here in Oz!

    Trying to find my own true balance (Being a Libran and such), but meanwhile, having fun and treating myself kindly. You are all in my thoughts, even tho I don’t post on sites right now.

    I have clearer thoughts, less irritability, and am less impulsive than 2 weeks ago.
    Still very much a struggle some times.. but, hey..I’m still here and very happy to be alive. Not the same kind of sad nor "the mania" that I felt 10 years ago, by any means!

    Been to the Beach twice and on walks a couple of times…
    Wide Open Spaces cure me right now!

    And…I’ll get by, with a little help from my friends!
