Thanks to Adrian, we got our car to the mechanic’s today. It was overdue for a tune up and repair of the altenator and radiator.

Now we’re stranded back here indefinitely.

Ha.

But it’s good that we’re attending to the car.

Ummm…

Yeah..

Any guesses to how long it takes me to start climbing the walls from being stir-crazy?

O.K., O.K., I’ll stop being ridiculous, and start thinking seriously about what can be accomplished around here. For instance, it’s time to start drawing in earnest again. I do need a new sketchbook, but in the meantime I’ll use the paper that I’ve got in the flat files. When I get out of the habit of drawing it always takes longer for me to get that initial push of action going. Once I draw, it can build on itself every new day and that takes on steam and then watch out!

Today my goal is to draw a couple of chairs and then something non-chair. I would draw outside, but it’s a rather wet and grey afternoon. It’s still a bit chilly and rainy these past few weeks, as Spring should be, yet in this house, warmer weather makes me more apt to get up and move around. But hey, I said I was going to post something today and I did. Makes me think that the drawing goal will be met, no problem. Dare I say I’ll check in tomorrow…with artwork?! Well, you’ll just have to wait and find out!
