One is Better than None
Well, I did one drawing at least. I feel I accomplished something, even if it’s not all that I set as a goal. It takes much discipline for me to get back into the habit of daily drawing after such a long break, but I determined to do it. Even if it’s one day and one drawing at a time:

Had a good talk with the family on the phone today. Poor Isaac was over-tired and was crying at the time. He just loves playing so much that he doesn’t want to go to sleep! Got to talk to Mom, Kathy and Dan and fill them in on all that I’ve been up to, which, admittedly isn’t a whole lot yet. In some ways I feel like I haven’t been here very long, but Kathy reminded me that it’s been almost a month..well, minus a week. ;-)
Didn’t get a walk in today. It was quite windy, damp, and dreary most of the day. So instead, I had a nice bath with candles and incense lit, and had a cup of chamomile tea and orange slices. Very relaxing! I’ll make sure to get my walk in tomorrow.
Now I’m off for a game of Rummikub with Cam, and then bed. Ahh, I’m ready for it! Tired as.

Hi Kat! Thanks for the encouragement!
Kirsten,
Yep, my sister got it for me for my birthday. She and my brother and I love to play it. Our Grandmother taught us how to play it.
This time around I beat Cam once, then I lost the second game to him.

Thanks, Yolie! At first I wasn’t thinking about drawing the pattern, but it seems to add a lot to the overall drawing
