Dust Yourself Off and Try Again

  

I went back to the subject matter from last week and had another go at it:




Then a bit more tiredly, I did a quick sketch of the bedroom stove:



Yeah..it’s a little hard to see. Won’t leave the drawing till so late in the evening next time!


Not much new going on around here. Job search, immigration paperwork, library runs, cleaning up the place, blah blah blah… anything new going on in your world? Let’s get some excitement back in here..I’ll try harder next entry!! That’s another promise!

    Love the artwork! I’m glad you got the package! So, what does Cam think of candy corn? Hopefully he likes it better than Zach does.

    Thanks! Cam likes it a lot. He says it reminds him of cheap bubblegum, which is a favourite too. I’ve been helping him eat it though..hee! The pictures of Isaac were so cute and I love the shirt! Love you lots!!

    Oh the benefits of AEM – like finding people like you. Your art is wonderful. The angel was definitely worth the wait. And the stove looks so cozy – finally fall has hit Texas. We have been hovering in the 80s but last night the temp dove to the high 20s. I need a stove to cuddle up in front of – because we don’t trust this chilly dip and are sure the air conditioner will again be required in a day or so, ala no heat yet. Loved looking at your cottage. It’s wonderful, and looks like it comes right out of a children’s book.

    Why thanks, Rebekah! Actually, we don’t use that stove because it causes too much smoke in the bedroom. But it looks charming anyway. :-) Hope you keep warm throughout the fall and winter! We’re enjoying spring here in upsidedown land!
