A couple of days ago the tree finally had proper lights and decorations put on it.
Here it is, looking not very spectacular, in the light of the camera flash:

I hope everyone out there is enjoying themselves for the holiday! We’re going to midnight mass on Saturday, then Mum and Dad’s to see the whole family on Christmas Day. Looking forward to it a lot! It’ll be fun to see Ebony open her gifts, and to share the day with family and friends (Adrian and Daniel will probably stop by) and to have a wonderful meal with a glass of wine. Then there’s always the Christmas pudding and custard! Mmm.

Got gifts in the mail this week from my parents and sister and her family! YAY!! Think I’ll do some drawing and painting of some gifts, to post sometime after Christmas. Thank you, guys! We love everything so much! The pictures of Ike are too cute! I hope you get lots of snow for Christmas!! (Well, not too much…but a little at least!)

I probably won’t have another entry up till after Christmas, so everyone have a wonderful time filled with love, laughter and that warm fuzzy feeling in your heart! (Hey, I’m listening to Karen Carpenter singing “Merry Christmas Darling” and the background vocals are inducing me to say extra sappy sentiments against my will!)

Now, stop reading websites and get the rest of those presents wrapped, and for the love of mike, don’t spill any eggnog on them this year!
