O yeah…. I have a blog!
Did you ever just grow weary of writing about the same ol’-same ol’? That’s my problem. Blog fatigue.
Here’s what’s been happening in my world, in case you’re saying “Did she fall off the face of the planet?” :
Job searching, catching up with friends by phone, walking the dog, experimenting with new recipes, visiting family, playing Rummikub, Pictionary, Solitaire and Mad Libs, watching the Commonwealth Games on TV, watching Scrubs and Little Britain, reading a handful of other blogs every-so-often, planning to call my family and forgetting till it’s the wrong time of day, wrapping up the very last (hopefully) of the immigration details, grocery shopping, cleaning house, wearing green and “lucky socks” and…
..getting a cool package from Kathy and Sr. Chrissy!!! THANKS GUYS! (Got it the day before St. Patrick’s Day.)
As for this blog, I’m sure I’ll get back into the swing of things eventually. So thanks for still popping in… now I’m off to enjoy some of my gifts!

I’ve had my mum add hours instead of subtract them when she was in Germany once; she woke us up in the middle of the night! *lol*

Falling off the planet can be a danger when you’re upside down. Yeah, that’s a fresh bit of humor.
My mom is a thousand miles away but we’re in the same time zone, so I don’t have your excuse when I forget to call.
On the other hand, my family members always seem to give me a serious answer when I ask them, “What time is it over there, now?” Only my brother catches on, a short while later: “Hey, isn’t it the same time there?”
It sort of reminds me of the old TV show “F-Troop”, when the sergeant says to his sidekick, “Agarn, I don’t know why everyone says you’re so dumb.” On the other side of the edit, when clearly a lot of time has passed, Agarn will turn to O’Rourke and ask, “Who says I’m dumb?”

Kirsten..he he..yeah…it can get tricky. ..And Cam said there are three time zones here. (Australia is just about the same size of the U.S.A. btw)
Claude..he he. That’s pretty funny about how you trick your family.

That makes sense. So I guess the time is 18 –20 hours ahead then of the west coast of North America, depending where you are.
