No Foolin!
The other night I was fixing lamb for dinner and did a double take, as I noticed a hot pink sticker on the wrapping. This is the latest advertising campaign for lamb, here in Australia. (Apologies to my vegetarian friends.)
It’s rather bizarre, but amusing anyway..

I liked the commercial, with the surprise ending. REALLY enjoyed the phone call! That was a great Mother’s Day gift. Amy, you sound well and happy. Hope you find a part time job this fall/winter. It’ll be good for you and it won’t hurt to have some spending money either. Hope you had a wonderful time with the family. Give my best to Cam’s Mum and Dad. Sending much love to you and Cam. That ad is a riot. The first couple of times i sat it on TV, I wasn’t really watching and didn’t even know what i was seeing, but when i actually paid attention, it got me good.

*PML!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* That’s gonna end up on a Clive James adverts programme one day. Reminds me of a really cheesy Carte Noir advert that used to go “Try to remember when life was so tender that dreams were kept beside your pillow” and we used to sing it as “try to remember when meat was so tender and lamb was placed beside your pillow”!!! *runs along to misheard lyrics at amiright.com* Write to ya soon dearest! xXx
