9 Vignettes from my Dallastown Home
Some of the things that I don’t always take for granted, but that I now want to take pictures to remind me!:

I bought this lamp because I loved how it looked old fashioned, and it casts a warm glow. The picture of Mary was my maternal grandmother’s and it is special to me. I feel a connection to my grandmother, though I never had the chance to meet her.

Don’t think Converse All Stars will ever be out of fashion. I love em.

These are at LEAST from 1994. I used them hard for painting and playing..I still wear them!

A few days after the dinner….

The dining room is the hub! It’s traditional, but always feels relaxed.

My old friend, the piano.. I think I played it within the first hour of the first full day I was home.

A copy of a Modigliani painting. ‘Scuse the blurry nature.. this was an unexpected gift from a friend back in 2000, when I expressed how much I loved it. WOW. I felt amazed by that, and she was happy to give it to me.

These were in my room when I arrived home. They are opening so beautifully! And I love the colour.

The door knocker is from my friend Tammy, and it just happens to have a tulip motif on it! I shall use it on the door of every home I live in. It’s one of my most cherished items. My current bedside table is my mother’s cedar chest, which I’ve always loved.
And that concludes the tour of the Lehr household..for now….
