This morning..
Woke up and drew Gus, who was chilling out at the end of the bed:
The rain has stopped..was drizzly and cold all day.
Had soup and bread and milk for lunch. MMMM..Hearty winter fare!
Corned beef is on the stove, and I’ll be starting the fire soon.
Things are good..
I’ll be cozied up in bed watching RAGE after 11:30 tonight, with Cammel, Gus, and his little mate, who we’ve been calling “Pete” lately.

i’m dog-sitting at present and i woke up to one of my boss’s dogs curled up against me. i didn’t know dogs could be so snuggly! :-)

Lovely drawing – has a warm feel to it. Reminds me of our golden retriever.

Thanks Kat..yeah..our dogs are very snuggly. And they have Snoopy’s mentality: "You could at least pet me until your arms fall off!"

Thank you..I never thought of that..the drawing being warm. I guess it was carried over from how I felt, curled up under the covers all cozy and not fully awake, glad that Gus was happy too..and not moving for once!!
Golden retrievers are wonderful! Our other one, Goldie (aka Pete) is golden retriever..we also think he’s part spaniel. His feet are way too big for such a shorty. I was just saying to him yesterday "You’re short! But, we appreciate you."
