    I remember a lot of Asian people wanted to get married on August 8 last year because the date was 8/8/8, and that’s lucky. They had to book so far in advance!

    Yes, I read about the number 8 being lucky for Chinese people. I also learned that nine is considered unlucky for many Japanese people!

    Good to hear from you, Kirsten. Hope you are doing well. Do you have a facebook page, by chance? That’s how I’ve been keeping in touch these days…

    Okay, I’ve signed up again. I used a fake last name though, because I had someone try and friend me from way back that I really didn’t want to talk to anymore. I blocked her out, but it felt funny. So the request you got will have my first name, just not my real last name. *lol*
