No Sense of Time WHAT-SO-EVER!!
Tuesday, November 9th, 2004Here is what happens when you start lino, then realize that lino cuts can take a long time to do.. especially when it’s a busy few days and you’re a perfectionist so you try and re-do prints until they are “good”, and then you read some blogs that inspire you to post the results, even though it’s mid-process:



I’ve always been thankful for those successful artists that have inspired me, not by their infamous masterpieces, but by revealing their trial and error process..the mistakes and all! I’m lucky to have had some mentors that have taught me that mistakes can teach someone as much as doing things right on the first try.
I’ve stopped for the night, realizing that I’ve done the numbers wrong way round..which is actually right way round! I thought it would be interesting to show the lino before it’s cut though. It looks cool, eh?
I really like the prints, but I’ll be glad to move on to a new medium. I’m going to enjoy having this little booklet of chairs when it’s finished though…
