Found through a favorite blog, How About Orange?.

What Color Orange Are You?

You Are Cameo

You are understanding and very empathetic.
You don’t tend to have acquaintances. Everyone is your friend.
And all of your friends tend to be friends. You have a knack for bringing very different people together.
What Color Orange Are You?

There’s more about what I’m up to here: Amy’s MySpace Blog, because one is JUST NOT ENOUGH. I must make things more complicated than they need to be.

Because I’m being lazy w/ emails at the moment, there are a few notes to people that may be hanging for a reply.
So if you want one from me, and have dropped by this site wondering what’s up, never fear. I’ll get back to you ASAP. In the meantime:

Allison: I REALLY want to catch up and email you properly. I DID get that one from a while ago. And thank you so much for the latest one!

Dan: Got your email. Cam and I LOVE the ad.
Best bet? Buy P-shop Elements on Ebay. Pretty similar to regular P-Shop. I got the version on Mum’s comp for around $11. Installation is easy-peasy.
Search round, but I’ll expand on this later. (I’ve got half an email written to you already.)

Janine, (the other) Cameron, Kelly, Mantel, Sarah, Donna, Jen and everyone who has sent general comments, hellos and emails: LOVE YA! Thank you!

Professor, aka Michael: Thanks for the offer to send images, but I’m pretty happy with what I’ve got and I will send the theme images shortly. If you have any fav. pics that you want to send, I don’t mind at all. I’m using both retro images and modern pics of older stuff.
Had a bit of a hiccup earlier in the week, with Cameron going into hospital. It’ll be finished before October, though.
Do you have to send anything to NPR this month? I can expedite it, if so.

Mom, Kathy and Sr. Chrissy!: YAY! THANK YOU for going to the exhibition in my place. Saw pictures on the website of you three. Can’t wait to hear your impressions of it all.

Seth: Hope everything is well. Exciting times!!

Melissa and Wendy: I WILL be calling you guys. Did not forget. Well, I forgot to call, but then I remembered when it was the wrong time… and then I put it off. Very sorry about that!

And there will be some packages in the mail shortly, for those of you whom I’ve previously notified!

Whew… I’ll leave it there for now. I may have forgotten some people.

It’s the price you pay when you’re so popular! Ha. Yeah….

If you’re in the Philadelphia Area on the 15th…

The link below provides info for the upcoming (no name) art group exhibition, which will benefit the El-Shadai Foster Home in Uganda. Along with 34 other artists creating portraits for the Home’s Children, I’ve contributed a portrait for a beautiful 14 year old girl named Tabitha. The children in the home will be sent their own portrait to keep, after the exhibition.

There will also be handmade crafts made by the children for sale at the gallery. If you’re in the area, please drop by next Saturday! I won’t be able to attend myself, but plenty of warm and lovely friends & family of mine will be there, so you’ll be quite welcome. If you can’t attend, please follow the links on the site, and consider making a donation to this worthy cause:

Where I’m At …

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

Well, I’ll be working on completing some projects for a while, so I’m not sure how soon I’ll be back to 9 Moons Ago. It needs some technical work (Cameron’s Dept.) done to it, as well as cosmetic (New theme and images), but for now, just hop on over to my MySpace page (Which my sister, Kathy, got me into at Christmas time last year.)

Been spending good times with friends, family and the wonderful people at the Dental Hospital in the city lately… haa.. yes, our medical dramas are so commonplace now, that we’re no longer phased at all! It’s the routine.
Anyway… I’ll keep checking in here from time to time to direct you to “the action”, so that you don’t get bored with checking in to find “nothing” here and so that this blog doesn’t die a thousand deaths….

Things are really good… just.. hectic!
Gonna go sort some stuff out and clear the backlog!
Take care,
xo Amy

CONGRATULATIONS to Dan on his new job of Communications Manager (aka Marketing Director) of Lehman Motors of York, Harrisburg and Mechanicsburg!! Whooo Hoo!!! Your hard work payed off, little brother!
Do you still have your drawing from grade school, when the teacher told your class to draw a picture of the zoo, and you drew the very front of the zoo with maybe one giraffe and a bear, and the rest of the picture was the cars in the zoo parking lot? Ha!

GOOD music.

listening to: Bessie Smith

Bessie Smith. A great influence on another of my favourite singers, Billie Holiday.
It is said that the character “Shug Avery” in the Color Purple was based on Bessie.

If you want to listen to, or buy, some more of her songs or other great jazz pieces you must go here!:
