Working 8 hour days does not make for much art-making energy!! Thus, the weekend provides the perfect chance to catch up on chairs and other artsy stuff!!
In other news, there will be a party sometime in Dec. or early Jan. in… get ready…

…Pennsylvania!!!

Yeah..so, I won’t be traveling anywhere else but my hometown and surrounding areas ..but, if you are a friend who has been asking, “WHEN are you visiting??!” ..well, this is your heads up.
No party date set yet..nor flight date even..but I’ll let ya know!
Should be arriving, sans husband, sometime after the 6th Dec!! YAY!!!!!!
(Well, I will miss him heaps..so “Yay” and “Boooo” simultaneously ..but yeah.. YAY anyway!!!!)

And, because I want to post something artsy:

This image, celebrating my new muscles from lifting up boxes of wine, was done entirely in photoshop. That’s how much I hate having to scan stuff!! I mean, I’ve had 4 things to scan and post for days!! Not tonight, suckas!!

p.s. The wine and crusty bread are, like, the best!!! Makes the monotony of putting bottles into gift bags or boxes worth it at the end of the week!! Well, that and the sheckles!!($)
Party in Wonga land TONIGHT!! Whoo!!!

It’s been a long day! Suffice it to say that after I was dropped off at work, Cameron came back to the house, then left at 10:30 am to do errands and he had one hell of a day…and I’m really not apologizing for the use of the word hell!
His day involved waiting around for 3 different people for 40 min or so each, being stuck in traffic because of a car accident, pumping up a tire on our car, changing a flat tire on our car, waiting for 3 trains on the way back to my work, picking me up 1 hour and 10 minutes late and no rest, food, or drink until we got home at 6:15pm and I made dinner and got us both drunk!!..AGAIN.
So, although I’d REALLY love to post chairs no. 16-18 (no’s 19-22 are not yet drawn) and one Regal looking lady….I’m not going to do it. I’m going to bed!
(Where the poor guy is blissfully passed out, saying things in his sleep like “This steak is REALLY good!”)
Perhaps I’ll post art tomorrow! But I wouldn’t hold my breath…

And this is why I didn’t do an illustration for Illo Friday..yet! Got too sleepy Thurs night, and then got home from work last night and when Cam asked what was for dinner, I said “Champagne!!” (We had fish and baked potato to compliment the booze.) They let us take two bottles and two of the gift bags as well..which have a cold pack to keep the bottle chilled when you go on a Christmas picnic Down Under! Nice, eh?:

As I’m slightly hung-over, this is all I’ll post today. I’ll try and get the illo Friday thing-o up tomorrow. Having lots of fun..Hope you are too!

Just a quick note to say, yes I’ve been drawing..no I’ve not been scanning, no I’ve not been online in a week. Gonna check email, draw for illo Friday, scan till the cows come home and then hopefully post tonight.
I may post tomorrow though, if I get sleepy.
Been working all week at a Vineyard, packaging up Champagne..rather, Sparkling White Brut… in Christmas gift bags. YAY!! Beautiful area and place! And as a bonus, we get to take home 2 bottles o’ wine tomorrow!
Don’t know if the job continues into next week yet, but….there’s more exciting news to tell a little later on in the week! I’ll keep you in suspense till the details are set!
Anyway..off to draw..have a greeeeaaaat weekend!
